The Department of Anatomical Pathology is a cornerstone of academic and diagnostic excellence within the School of Pathology and the National Health Laboratory Service (NHLS).
The Department is located at 7 York Road, Parktown, Johannesburg, South Africa, 3rd Floor, Faculty of Health Sciences.
The department provides diagnostic services to provincial hospitals in Gauteng and the North West Province, as well as offering referral consultations to several countries in the Southern African Development Community (SADC) and private pathology practices, autopsy services, undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and training and technologist training.
